3Stone Meet Privacy Notice
Effective 2 November 2026 · Updated 4 November 2026
3Stone AI LLC ("3Stone AI", "we") provides 3Stone Meet. This notice covers Meet; the 3Stone Privacy Policy covers the rest of your 3Stone account. Meet does not hold meetings, record calls or listen in the background.

| Voice recordings | Only while you press to record | Sent once over an encrypted connection to OpenAI to be turned into text. Meet keeps the transcript as your message and never stores the audio. OpenAI currently lists no retention for the transcription endpoint we use (see AI processing). Spoken minutes are counted for your plan |
| Files and screenshots you choose to share | Only when you attach or capture them; parts you hide are removed on your device first | To deliver them. Meet's AI may read an attachment to explain a message unless you mark it "don't use with AI" |

Only 3Stone AI staff review reports; the reported person isn't told who reported them |
| Billing details: payer name and email, plan, seats, status, receipts | When someone subscribes on the website | To charge and manage the subscription. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by 3Stone AI |
| In-app purchase records: product, seat count, status, renewal, cancellation and refund events, and the store's transaction identifier (for Google Play, only a fingerprint of the purchase token) | When you subscribe in the iPhone, iPad or Android app | To give your account the plan you bought. Apple or Google takes the payment; we never receive your card or store account details |
| Security records: sign-in events, hashed rate-limit counters, audit trail of administrative changes | Continuously | Security and accountability; the audit trail never contains message content |
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
AI processing
Meet uses AI models from OpenAI, through OpenAI's business API, to transcribe voice, rewrite messages and create explanations. Message text, transcripts and attachments you allow are sent to OpenAI for that purpose only. Under OpenAI's API terms this data is not used to train OpenAI's models. OpenAI's current data-controls documentation lists no abuse-monitoring or application-state retention for the audio transcription endpoint Meet uses. For text and image processing, OpenAI may retain inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, or longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect its services or others from harm. See OpenAI's API data controls. Meet's own checks compare each clarified message with the original for lost names, numbers, negations, deadlines and commitments, and hold it for the sender's review when the meaning could change.
Who can see what
- Messages are visible to the people in the conversation; if someone reports a message, a copy is also available to 3Stone AI staff for safety review. Space and organization owners, administrators and billing contacts cannot read other people's messages.
- Organization owners and administrators see people, roles, spaces paid for and usage counts. Space owners see members, invitations, settings and an audit trail without message content.
- Notifications and reminder emails say only that a message is waiting; reminder emails never include message text.
- 3Stone AI staff access data only to operate, secure and support Meet, and to review safety reports. A report includes a copy of the reported message so staff can review it.
Retention and deletion
- Messages are kept until deleted. A space owner can set automatic deletion after 30 days to 10 years.
- A sender can delete a message for everyone at any time; its files are deleted with it.
- Delete my Meet data in Settings erases every message you sent, with your files, and removes you from spaces and organizations. Messages others sent you stay with them. Your 3Stone account itself is deleted from 3Stone account settings.
- Download my data in Settings gives you a copy of your Meet data.
- Meet never stores voice audio (OpenAI's retention is described under AI processing). Database backups are kept for a limited period for disaster recovery and then overwritten.
- Safety reports, with their copy of the reported message, are kept while needed to review them, protect people and meet legal obligations, even if the sender later deletes the message.
Service providers
Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in, in the United States), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (AI processing), Resend (email), Apple and Google notification services (if you turn notifications on), and Stripe (website payments). They process data only to provide their service to us.
If you subscribe in the iPhone, iPad or Android app, Apple's App Store or Google Play handles your payment and store account information under the applicable store terms and privacy policies. We receive the purchase records described above to provide your plan, not your card details. Apple, Google or Microsoft processes sign-in information under its own terms and privacy policy when you choose that sign-in service.
Children
Meet is not for children under 13, and learning spaces require each student to confirm they are 13 or older.
Your choices and rights
You can change preferences, notifications and previews, download your data and delete your Meet data in Settings. To ask for access, correction or deletion, or to exercise other rights the law gives you, email jathan@3stoneai.com. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Encrypted connections, per-person limits on paid features, database rules that keep each customer's data separate, single-use expiring password-reset links, and "Sign out everywhere". No system is perfectly secure.
Changes and contact
We post changes here and email account owners about material changes before they take effect. Questions: jathan@3stoneai.com.
